1. What Are Cookies and Storage Technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can store on your device via your browser.
There are also other technical methods for storing information in the browser, such as “local storage.”

Certain storage mechanisms are necessary for BloxxStar to function reliably from a technical standpoint.
These essential functions cannot be disabled via the privacy settings.

Purpose:
Stores your decision regarding whether external media such as YouTube or Instagram may be loaded.
This means you do not have to make your selection again every time you visit the page.

Version of the privacy preference, necessary functions, consent or refusal of external media, and the time of storage.
Retention Period:
Until the selection is changed, reset, or the corresponding browser storage is cleared.

3. External Media
BloxxStar may embed external content from third-party providers.
This includes, in particular:
YouTube
Instagram
This content is not loaded automatically unless you have consented to the “External Media” category.
Without your consent, a local placeholder is displayed instead. This is intended to prevent a connection from being established with the respective third-party provider simply by visiting the page.
Only when you allow “External Media” or intentionally load the corresponding external content can a connection be established with Google (or YouTube) or Meta (or Instagram).
In doing so, personal data—in particular your IP address as well as browser and device information—may be transmitted to the respective provider.
4. YouTube
YouTube content on BloxxStar falls under the “External Media” category.

5. Instagram
Instagram content on BloxxStar also falls under the “External Media” category.

6. Analytics and Marketing
BloxxStar currently does not use its own categories for non-essential analytics or marketing technologies.
Should analytics, statistics, advertising, or marketing services be used in the future, they will not be activated without the necessary consent, if required.
In this case, this cookie information and the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
7. Your Privacy Control Panel
You decide for yourself which additional modules BloxxStar is allowed to use.
On your first visit to BloxxStar, you can choose between the following options:
“Enable All Modules”
This allows external media in addition to necessary functions.
“Necessary Only”
This keeps external content such as YouTube and Instagram disabled for the time being.
“Settings”
Here you can customize your selection.
Essential functions always remain active, as they are required for the technically reliable operation of the website.
8. Change or Revoke Your Selection
A decision you make is not set in stone forever.
You can reopen and change your privacy settings at any time via the “Privacy Settings” link in the BloxxStar footer.
Consent that has been given can be revoked at any time with future effect.
You can also delete cookies and local storage entries via your browser’s settings.
9. Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to view stored cookies, delete individual or all cookies, and restrict the storage of cookies in general.
Information stored in local storage can also be removed via the browser settings or the website data of the respective browser.
If technically necessary storage is deleted or completely blocked, certain convenience features of BloxxStar may be restricted.
10. Legal Basis
To the extent that storing information on your device or accessing information already stored is absolutely necessary to provide a digital service you have expressly requested, this is done on the basis of Section 25(2) of the TDDDG.
To the extent that your consent is required for storage or access, this is based on Section 25(1) of the TDDDG.
To the extent that personal data is processed in this context, the processing is based, depending on the function, in particular on Article 6(1)(a) or Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy
BloxxStar will update this information if new storage technologies, external services, or additional functions requiring consent are introduced.
This page is therefore intended to always document the current status of the storage technologies used by BloxxStar.
